Kristel studied Graphic Design at the Luca School of Arts in Brussels. She then began working as a graphic designer, developing a great many corporate identities. She also did a lot of design and layout work on books and magazines.
Kristel loves all things that are beautiful and is interested in architecture, interior design, and design in general. She is particularly interested in the design of the interwar period. She also loves long, far-away travels, although she has not been able to do much of that since the birth of her son. Even so, she tries to make time for her other hobbies, namely drawing and creating linocuts; she is very interested in all sorts of printing techniques (etching, screen printing, and linocutting).
